ABOUT ME
At the moment I am attending the third year of my PhD in hadronic physics in Pavia, with the supervisor Barbara Pasquini. Previously, I obtained my Master Degree with a curriculum in theoretical physics, attending theoretical courses in different branches of physics and mathematics: quantum field theory, differential geometry, quantum information, statistics, general relativity.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Theoretical aspects and phenomenology of QCD: confinement, hadronization, internal structure of hadrons, parton distribution functions.
MY WORK
My PhD work consists in developing a theoretical model for the internal structure of pions, in order to parametrize different types of pion parton distribution functions. The idea is to fit different experimental data, regarding the pion collinear parton distribution function (PDF), the pion electromagnetic form factor (FF), the pion transverse momentum parton distribution function (TMD), and to predict future data about pion Generalized Parton Distribution Function (GPD).
