Prof. Alexei Prokudin (University of Penn State Berks, USA) will visit the group from June 2nd to June 22nd to collaborate with us on a common scientific project.
Alexei is a world expert on Transverse Momentum Distributions, which are the central object of study of the 3DSPIN project. He earned his Ph.D. at the Institute for High Energy Physics in Protvino, Russia in 2000. Prior to joining Penn State Berks, he had 14 years of research experience, first as a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Turin, Italy and at the National Institute for Nuclear Physics in Turin, Italy, and then as Staff Scientist at Theory Center of Jefferson Lab.
